The most recent collection necklaces of Staring Back At Me is called Repetition. This collection shows a great use of geometrical shapes and colours. Traveling is one of the finest ways to get inspiration. This was also the case during a trip to Albania three years ago. There we saw a lot of coloured houses painted with geometric patterns in the most beautiful colour combinations. Another source of inspiration is the work of the French painter Auguste Herbin (1882 - 1960). Especially his abstract “geometrical phase” proved to be influential.
The materials used in this collection are Durat, resin, wood, ceramic, rope and goldplated pins, which connect the individual elements.
